Parental Attitude

Parental attitude in private school is much negative these days. They have blamed private schools without any base in contrast they would send their children to private schools. It means they have played double role towards private school. They need school to fulfil their strategy making their children competent rather they support public school to be propublic. So their role is always debatable in this matter.

The context comes to light when one of the parents has shown her attitude today. She used to talk to me in the past, but today she seems angry and reluctant to talk to me. I also didn’t care to her attitude; neither do I greet her. She has a son in class 2 and he got hurted last Thursday. She didn’t send her son to school on Friday and there was holiday on Saturday and Sunday. When she comes to school today also she seems angry; so I also don’t care her.

Her son was hurted on the forehead but the wound wasn’t a big one. We have treated him from our school’s side and he has no problem at all. So there is no such logic that she should be angry with the school. Or I have taken it as an incident that can happen at any time. If some accident happens, school has done primary or emergency treatment for the children. We did the same to her son as well.

The child played with his friend and he got hurted accidently. But the mother didn’t understand the reality rather she blamed to the teachers and school. She thinks that she has been paying fee of her child and the school should take all sorts of responsibility of her child. It is not possible at any cost. The children would play with their friends and they may be hurted which is neither the mistake of children nor the school. On the other hand, parents have been angry with school which has no base at all. Or they think that they could buy all sorts of services from the school by paying petty monthly fee.

As I listened that she had gone to quarrel with the mother of the opponent child. I got phone from her mother on Friday that his son was threatened to be attacked. It isn’t possible at any cost but she spreads the rumor and the mother of the opponent child had phoned to school.  I think that the attitude of the parents has been so much negative or she seemed so aggressive that she would do everything what she wanted.

Though it couldn’t happen but her attitude is too much bad and aggressive. It reflected the asocial nature of the parents towards private school. As a whole it reflects the parental attitude that they have cared their children well than in the school. It also reflects the social attitude of them that they don’t fit to the society. Or they would like to challenge the social norms of the society of which they don’t need their neighbors or their children could spend life alone.

By nature, the children would play in the school along with their friends; neither the school, nor teachers, nor guardians can take care of it. Actually it is a kind of accident that happens all of a sudden. But the attitude of the parents has been negative which is reflected from this incident.
